Session Format & Availability

Format: Secure video (telehealth). You’ll receive a private link and reminders before each session.
Length: 50 minutes.
Location: Australia-wide. Please choose a quiet, private space with a stable internet connection.

Fees & Rebates

With a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP):

Session fee – $200

Medicare rebate – $98.97 per session

Out-of-pocket (gap) – $101.03

Private pay:

If you prefer to attend without a MHCP, the full fee of $200 applies.

Cancellation Policy

More than 48 hours’ notice: No fee.

Between 24–48 hours’ notice: 50% of the session fee will be charged (non-rebated).

Less than 24 hours’ notice or non-attendance: Full session fee applies (non-rebated).

Confidentiality, Duty of Care and Mandatory Reporting 

All sessions are confidential, and records are stored securely in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles and AHPRA requirements.

There are some legal and ethical limits to confidentiality. Information may need to be disclosed without your consent if:

  • There is a serious and imminent risk of harm to yourself or others.

  • There are concerns about the abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable person.

  • A court subpoenas records or requires a report.

As a registered psychologist, I have a duty of care to take reasonable steps to protect clients and others from harm, including acting under mandatory reporting obligations when required by law.

Legal & Reporting Notes

Father Forward Psychology does not provide forensic or court-mandated treatment, and does not prepare reports for legal proceedings, family court, or insurance disputes.

Services are not available for court-ordered assessments or mandated therapy programs.
